Sorry for not posting more about shooty-related stuff. Things have been rather busy on my end, and I simply haven’t had time to go to the range recently.
That said, I am ogling a Swiss K31 rifle quite mightily, and once my C&R comes back with my updated address, I suspect that it may be in my future.

Love my K31 with diopter sights. Joined my friend’s Swiss shooting club and get to shoot it with a bunch of old Swiss guys. We mostly shoot prone at 200 yards and it’s pretty incredible what these rifles can do even in my noob hands. Quite the experience. GP11 isn’t cheap, but it is match quality.

Good to know. I handled a K31 for the first time the other day. Nice rifle. If only it could be easily scoped (I heard it was difficult) it’d make a great, highly accurate rifle for shooting longer distances – something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
That, and having an old rifle is fun (I love my M1), and the fact that it’s Swiss is neat too.
