Anti-Rights Establishments in Arizona

Effective September 30th, 2009, persons with CCW permits in Arizona may carry firearms into establishments that serve alcohol for on-premises consumption (e.g. restaurants and bars).

Among other requirements, the law stipulates that persons carrying firearms into such establishments must not consume alcohol. Owners of such establishments may prohibit the carriage of firearms on their premises by posting a sign at the entrance.

While I fully support and respect the rights of property owners, I feel like they do not respect my right to self-defense. As such, I will not patronize such places. Instead, I will take my business to places that respect my rights.

As I suspect others may be interested in the firearms policies of establishments in Arizona, and so I am publishing the list that I have compiled.

If you are aware of alcohol-serving establishments that prohibit the lawful carriage of arms on their premises that aren’t on my list, I would appreciate it you could notify me by filling out this form. If an establishment is listed below that no longer prohibits firearms, please contact me and I’ll gladly remove it from the list.

In any case, I urge you to — like me — politely inform the establishment of your objection to the sign, and that you will take your business elsewhere so long as the sign remains.

I am not boycotting bar’s or sports bars. Pretty much any place that sells more liquer than food.

I am boycotting restaurants that post signs.

you may also add PEI-WAY (alma school & queen creek road)

i literally just got kicked out of HARKINS THEATRE (chandler mall)

im getting the boot from left and right from managers not posting signs, yet still asking me to leave or put the gun in my car. i dont have a “gangster image” or any other image for that matter. just besides the image of a law abiding citizen excercising his 2nd amendment rights.

asking me to put the gun in the car, is making damn sure i wont be spending money at that place. not my loss.

i just got off the phone with the manger from harkins. they do not have a “no firearms” sign posted up. so i dropped the question, is this a anti-rights establishemnt? no resposne, but corporate office tells the manger to ask them to leave if seen with a firearm. so i asked the question again, no response. so im guessing corporate office of harkins wants your money, just not your right to bear arms. im soooo mad.
